Fun Palace 2.020 (Thesis)
This thesis project re-examines Cedric Price's 1964 architecture of leisure, interaction and creativity. Taking cues from architecture (the paradigm shift from 3 axis space to 6+ axis space and fabrication), modern computational science (cloud infrastructures, virtualization, etc) and current societal demands (democracy, interaction, large scale change), this project proposes a moving network of interaction between architecture and inhabitant. This fundamentally and programmatically adaptive building serves as a museum for digital art and cultural center in La Defense, Paris.
